Gastroenterology Associates is a private practice that has been conducting clinical research for over 12 years. The mission of Gastroenterology Associates is to provide the highest quality, most cost-effective gastroenterology care to our patients.

Gastroenterology Associates conducts clinical trials at two offices. One is in Kingsport, TN and the other 20 miles away in Bristol, TN. Gastroenterology Associates has 11 physicians and 3 family nurse practitioners that all participate in our clinical research program. Gastroenterology Associates has the ability to participate in studies in each city as independent sites. We use Kingsport as the main site with Bristol as a satallite office. There is a physician at each office who acts as Principal Investigator.

Our research experience encompasses treating a wide range of digestive diseases, including:

We draw many patients from our practice and large practice database. Our practice covers a large geographical territory with patients coming from as far as 2-3 hours away due to lack of specialized medicine and studies in their own area. We also advertise with local newspapers, radio stations and television stations that cover a large area.
