Investigator Experience

William Jennings, MD, Medical Director, has conducted over 300 clinical trials since 1998. Dr. Jennings is Board Certified in both Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine. He attended Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his internship and residency at Saint Vincent Hospital and Health Care Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Jennings has over 25 years of private practice experience including working in the Department of Family Practice and Community Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas. Dr. Jennings has performed clinical research trials in Alzheimer’s disease, anemia, asthma, BPH, contraception, coronary heart disease, depression, diabetes, endometrial hyperplasia, erectile dysfunction, FSD, GERD/erosive esophagitis, fibrocystic breast disease, influenza, gout, headache/migraine, healthy, genital herpes, herpes labialis, hot flashes, hypertension, hypogonadism, incontinence, insomnia, lipids, muscle strain, nutrition, obesity, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, otitis externa, overactive bladder, pain-chronic, premature ejaculation, PDD, PMS, vaccines, vaginal atrophy and vaginitis.

Thomas Weiss, MD is a Board Certified Psychiatrist with added qualifications in addictions, geriatrics and psychosomatic medicine. Dr. Weiss has served as Medical Director of the Laurel Ridge and Charter Real Hospital Chemical Dependency Units, the Medical Director of the Behavioral Health Center at St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital, as well as maintaining a private practice in San Antonio. He earned his Medical Degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, performed his residency at WHMC Medical Center, and has practiced in the city since 1991. Since joining Radiant Research-San Antonio, Dr. Weiss has served as Principal Investigator on more than 200 clinical trials in geriatric and adult populations. Dr. Weiss’ primary research interests include Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety, cognitive impairment, depression, fibromyalgia, insomnia, panic disorders, schizophrenia and substance abuse.

Michael Troy, MD is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Troy received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, TX. Dr. Troy has performed numerous clinical studies in the areas of endometrial hyperplasia, endometriosis, female sexual dysfunction, hormone replacement therapy, hot flashes, premenstrual syndrome and yeast infections.

Jay Rubin, MD is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. Dr. Rubin received his degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. He has an active practice and has been involved in numerous studies in a variety of indications such as allergic and bacterial conjunctivitis, corneal ulcer, dry eye and glaucoma.

The center’s office occupies 7,184 square feet of dedicated research space with an adjoining investigator’s psychiatry private practice. The center is located twelve miles from San Antonio International Airport.
