Johnna A. Pezzullo, RN, BSN
President

With over 12 years of clinical research experience, Ms. Pezzullo serves as the Executive Director of Omega Medical Research overseeing the daily operations, and serving as marketing liaison to the community and physicians. Ms. Pezzullo has also served as a member of the Alliance for Multispecialty Research, LLC's Executive Committee since 1998.

Lynne A. Haughey, RN, MSN, FNP
Vice President

Ms. Haughey is trained as a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, in both Pediatrics and Adult Primary Care Medicine, and has over 9 years of clinical research experience. She has served as sub-investigator for a wide range of research studies and provides assistance with the daily operations at Omega and oversees the clinical team of Study Coordinators.

David L. Fried, MD
Medical Director and Primary Principal Investigator

Dr. Fried has conducted and supervised over 150 clinical trials and frequently lectures for leading pharmaceutical companies. He is a board certified Internist and a Clinical Assistant Professor in Medicine at Brown University and Adjunct Clinical Professor Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island.

Omega Medical Research's office is located in Warwick, RI and is conveniently located approximately 5 miles from the states airport. OMR's hours of operation are: Monday 8:00am-4:30pm, Tuesday 7:30am-4:30pm, Wednesday 8:30am-6:00pm, Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, and Friday 8:00am-2:00pm.

OMR has a 4,000 square foot facility with:

  • Large Monitor area to host up to 4 monitors, equipped with phones, fax, copier, high speed internet access and modems.

  • Dedicated Drug Storage room with keypad entry, temperature monitored. Access by Research Coordinators only.
