Use our guide to learn which trials are right for you!

The Sleep Wellness Institute, Inc., located just outside of Milwaukee in West Allis, Wis., opened in 1994 as southeastern Wisconsin's first independent sleep center. Our Twelve-bed center is fully accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. In 2007, we received "Honorable Mention" in Advanced Newsmagazine's Sleep Center of the Year competition, ranking us as one of the top three sleep centers in the United States. We have also received local business awards for innovative practices and for being one of the area's "Future 50" companies each of the last three years.

The Sleep Wellness Institute is committed to excellence. We believe that participating in clinical research enables us to be a leader in the field of sleep medicine and we have been collaborating on sponsored trials since 2001. Beginning in 2006, we also began funding our own Investigator Initiated Trials. This helps us to give our patients the most current scientifically based treatments available.

Our outpatient facility performs sleep studies seven nights a week, as well as daytime studies for those people who work third shift. Each of our twelve bedrooms is equipped with polysomnographic diagnostic systems that meet or surpass the American Academy of Sleep Medicine's standards. Visitors compare our center to a hotel instead of a hospital with adjustable beds, flat panel televisions, personal handicap accessible bathrooms with showers, free continental breakfast, and a private garden for all to enjoy. Our amenities allow for subjects to relax and reduce any anxieties regarding the procedures. Please take an online tour. www.sleepwellandlive.com/swi_about/facility.html

Office visits hours are between 8:30am to 8pm Monday-Thursday and 8:30am-5pm on Fridays. We currently have four examination rooms.

The Sleep Wellness Institute is located just off interstate 45. Public transportation includes a bus stop within one block. We also offer cab service to all subjects, if necessary.

We are willing to purchase any additional equipment that may be needed for each individual trial. Study monitors will also be allowed to use a personal workstation as needed. Each workstation will include a phone line and internet connection.
