Raj Shiwach, MD
Prinicipal Investigator
Dr. Shiwach was trained in Psychiatry in the U.K. (Liverpool, Oxford, and Maudsley) and at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, where he later served as a member of the faculty. He is Board Certified in Psychiatry & Neurology, 1998, Texas/U.S.A., Recertification' Mar 08, Board Eligible - Forensic Psychiatry, Working towards Board eligibility in Sleep Medicine.

He has extensive experience in Research and has over 40 peer review publications. As a Medical Director of Research at Terrell State Hospital, Dr. Shiwach managed the Research facility for five years and did several trials as PI (over 20+ industry sponsored clinical drug trials in Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder and Depression).

Dr. Shiwach entered the private sector in 2003 and currently heads a successful Research Site - InSite Clinical Research in Desoto, Texas . The main focus is on Adult, Adolescent & Geriatric CNS studies -Phase I to Phase IV.

Suresh Sureddi, MD
Sub Investigator
Dr Sureddi is trained in Psychiatry at UT Southwestern Medical School, Dallas, Texas and The New England Medical Center, Boston MA. He has over 10 years of clinical experience and 8 years of Research experience. He is the Medical Director of Life Path Systems in Plano, Tx and a Member of Faculty at UT Southwester, Dallas, Tx.

Chad Sawyer, PMHNP-BC
Sub Investigator
Chad Sawyer has been a part of InSite Clinical Research since 2008. He is multi faceted and has over 4 years of clinical experience. He worked at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore, MD' Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Behavioral Pharmacology Research Unit as the Lead Psychometrician/Research Supervisor/Research Program Coordinator.

Our dedicated and committed Research Team includes:

  • 5 Experienced and Certified Clinical Research Coordinators which include 1 licensed nurse
  • 1 Study Nurse
  • 1 Nurse Practioner
  • Regulatory Specialist
  • 2 Recruitment Coordinators
  • 3 Registered Phlebotomists
  • 4 Qualified Raters
  • 2 Lab Technicians/Research Assistants
  • All staff is CPR certified.
  • We also have access to medical doctors for consults and imaging/diagnostic centers if needed
  • 2 Experienced Internal Medicine Doctors
  • Experienced Neurologists

The site currently maintains access to several community mental health clinics, mental health boarding homes or halfway houses, and private psychiatric hospitals. We are located in a medical plaza surrounded by different sub-specialties of medicine and we are extending our scope of research indications to include internal medicine (hypertension, diabetes, arthritis etc.).

Located just south of Dallas, Texas, and minutes away from the mid-cities, INCR's database from research and clinical practice and advertising through radio, newspaper, TV and flyer campaigns have proven to be particularly effective when targeting specific populations and demographics. We have an accessible database of patients with schizophrenia, mood disorders, Migraines, Alzeihmer's Disease, to name a few .

The overall recruiting strategies employed at InSite Clinical Research have enabled us to meet or exceed every contracted target received from sponsors. In many cases, we are among the top enrollers in the country.

We have recently opened a Phase I building which will allow us to conduct Phase I studies as well as other early Phase inpatient studies. The new facility has all the equipment listed above plus PSG capabilities, and the items listed below.

  • -20 and -70 freezer with temperature control and monitoring
  • Experienced Phase I staff with PK sampling experience
  • Close to emergency facility at Charlton Methodist Hospital, DeSoto
  • Space/Room for CRAs with high speed internet access
  • Regularly calibrated/synchronized instruments
  • 12 beds plus 2 State of the Art Sleep Labs
  • Pleasant surrounding in a newly constructed building

Staff is highly qualified and trained and have a number of years experience in Clinical Research and Phase I activities.
