Tower Pointe Research Center is a privately owned and operated investigational site specializing in phase II, III and IV clinical trials for the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Tower Pointe Research Center is an independent research center based on a 15 physician multi-specialty private practice representing a patient population of approximately 66,000. Our mission is to provide the best health care possible in a kind and caring environment, while respecting the rights of all patients, in a cost-effective approach, at times and locations convenient to the patient. We pride ourselves on our personal relationships with our patients as well as the comprehensive services we provide. Our compassionate, motivated and knowledgeable team of physicians and staff are dedicated to achieving the standards of excellence. We have positioned ourselves to cover a wide array of studies in multiple therapeutic areas. Our physicians are board certified and cover the following areas of specialty; Family Medicine, Cardiology/Vascular Diseases, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Musculoskeletal, Nephrology, Neurology, and Pulmonary/Respiratory Diseases. Each study provides exceptional staff, study space and equipment.
Tower Pointe Research Center has successfully completed a number of Phase II - IV pharmaceutical drug trials. Having a large number of family medicine patients in our database and maintaining a close relationship with many local physicians facilitates enrollment in multiple therapeutic areas. Our investigators have participated in type II diabetes, respiratory infection, and hypertensive studies. We have particular experience in the areas of Endocrinology, Cardiology/Vascular Diseases, Neurology, Pulmonary/Respiratory Diseases, Musculoskeletal, Nephrology, and General Practice Medicine. Tower Pointe Research Center and Piedmont Health Group LLC, serve the Lakelands region of South Carolina, an area that comprises of Greenwood, Edgefield, Laurens, Newberry, Abbeville, and Saluda counties. PHG has offices conveniently located in Greenwood, Hodges, and Ninety Six, SC. We serve a population of 66,000 residents from the surrounding counties and have access to the residents of Greenville and Aiken, South Carolina.
