Exploring Outcomes and Characteristics of Myasthenia Gravis: The EXPLORE MG Registry

This research will focus on several mechanisms of autoimmune neurological diseases by
studying peripheral blood, disease status and course, and treatment of subjects with
myasthenia gravis and other immune-mediated neurological diseases. This could lead to further
studies which could provide better understanding of immune dysregulation, that evaluate
treatment responses, and to potentially identify markers of disease activity leading to more
complete treatments.

In addition, blood samples will be collected from a cohort of individuals with no clinical
evidence of disease, yielding a wealth of data with which to guide the investigation of
inflammatory and infectious diseases. The healthy cohort will provide a reference of
variation in immune function against which individuals with inflammatory and infectious
diseases can be compared.

Inclusion Criteria:

- Adult Patients: patients presenting to the Yale Department of Neurology for clinical
care or research interventions.

- Healthy Controls: volunteers with no evidence of infectious or neurological/autoimmune
disease.

Exclusion Criteria:

- Failure to meet the Inclusion Criteria.
