A Community-Academic Partnership to Improve Asthma Management in Latino Children
This study compares an asthma self-management intervention, delivered to the family and
tailored to their needs and cultural beliefs, to standard asthma education in high-risk
Puerto Rican children in elementary school. The primary outcomes are asthma medication
adherence and trigger reduction.
