State College Urologic is a private practice established in 1970. Our doctors bring over 60 years of urologic experience to the State College Community. Doctors, David Oselinsky, Charles Dalton, Jeffrey Sekula, and Robert Wild offer sensitivity to your urological concerns along with the most up-to-date treatments. In 2004 our office added a Clinical Research Department, to be able to offer our patients further alternative treatment options with the newest investigational medications and treatments being researched today. Our Clinical Research Department is headed by Dr. David Oselinsky, Clinical Research Director.

The Clinical Research Director

Dr. David Oselinsky has been actively involved in research since 2003, and has participated in over 25 clinical research trials over the past 5 years.

The sub-investigators

Dr. Charles Dalton, Dr. Jeffrey Sekula, and Dr. Robert Wild, also have equal experience in conducting clinical research trials in our office. Dr. Dalton is the current President of the Pennsylvania Urologic Society.

All of the physicians are board certified urologists by the American Board of Urology. All physicians are members of the American Medical Association, and the American Urological Association as well as belonging to a variety of other urologic related organizations.

Karen Hass, RN, CRA, CCRC has over 10 years of full time clinical research nursing experience. She also is an experienced Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA, and worked as a research monitor. She currently holds her certification in research as a certified clinical research coordinator. She has extensive experience in clinical research in phases II, III, and IV, and in numerous therapeutic areas for many indications, including: Lung cancer, Breast cancer, Prostate Cancer, Ovarian Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Colon Cancer, Prostatitis, Overactive Bladder, Hypogonadism, Post-op Pain, Chronic Pain, Hypertension, Diabetes, Asthma, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Sjogren's Disease, Fibromyalgia, and Gastric Ulcers. She has done clinical research in both the hospital setting as well as private/group practice, and is experienced working with, both local IRB, and medical ethics committees, as well as central IRBs.


State College Urology is located in State College, in the central Pennsylvania region. Our patient population drawing area covers about an 80 mile radius in all directions. This radius covers a very large geographic area which includes numerous surrounding counties and cities. State College is multi cultural, with the majority of the patient population being Caucasian.


Nephrology/Urology

Our primary office is conveniently located in the heart of State College, within walking distance from the University Park Campus of Penn State University. The University Park Airport in State College is approximately a ten (10) minute drive from our office. Our office is located in close proximity to numerous restaurants, and hotels. We are just minutes away from the Bryce Jordon Center which features many attractions including sporting events, and concerts. In addition to serving the State College area, we also have satellite offices in Tyrone, Lewistown, and Huntingdon, PA.

Our office is an outpatient services facility in which we provide a full range of urologic services including prostate ultrasound and biopsy, vasectomy, cystoscopy, brachytherapy, cryosurgery, and urodynamicsis. Our office is equipped with 14 patient exam rooms, a large, comfortable waiting room, a separate laboratory, and a designated phlebotomy area.

Our office also provides all of the appropriate accommodations for the research department including, two (2) roomy, private, research offices, private monitoring areas with wireless network access, designated research copiers, fax machines, and designated analog lines. Our office is equipped with limited access, and locked; temperature controlled and monitored investigational product storage areas. We also provide adequate office space for storage of data, regulatory, and laboratory supplies.
