Use our guide to learn which trials are right for you!

AGA Center for Clinical Research, a division of Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates, has taken on multiple challenges in gastroenterology disorders. Liver disease, ulcerative colitis, and inflammatory bowel disease are just a few of the many areas of focus.

The main driving force for establishing this Center within our organization was the desire from physicians in our practice with extensive clinical experience to be able to apply their knowledge and care to academic new research in digestive diseases.

AGA's gastroenterologists also head multiple clinical studies. We are largely involved in the performance of clinical drug trials. These trials test the safety and efficacy of new drugs, which are developed for the treatment of a wide range of digestive diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and gastroesophageal reflux disease.

Our Center is supervised by board certified gastroenterologists and has a full-time staff of trained and certified clinical research coordinators who participate in continuing education programs in order to maintain our high standards. All of our participating physicians are principal investigators in major trials conducted both nationally and internationally.

We are currently conducting trials on inflammatory bowel disease, gastro esophageal reflux disease, irritable bowel syndrome and Hepatitis C.
