Investigator Experience

Michael DePriest, MD, Medical Director is Board Certified in Psychiatry and has served as the site’s Principal Investigator since 1996. Dr. DePriest has successfully completed over 140 trials in a multitude of areas in CNS – depression, ADHD, alcohol/opiate/gambling addiction, Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety, depression, headache/migraine, impulse aggression, insomnia, obesity, oppositional defiant disorder, panic disorder, PMDD, PTSD, sexual dysfunction, smoking cessation and social phobia. Dr. DePriest received his BSN and MD from the University of Tennessee, completing his internship and residency at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. DePriest has also served as the Medical Director for Clinical Research and Special Projects at the University Behavioral Medicine Services in Staten Island, New York.

Murray Berger, MD, Principal Investigator is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and has completed over 70 clinical trials in over nine years. He received his MD from the University of Chicago School of Medicine in Chicago, IL. Dr. Berger has experience in the following areas: Alzheimer’s disease, anxiety, BPH, contraception, depression, diabetes, endometriosis, erectile dysfunction, female sexual dysfunction, headache, HRT, hot flash, hypertension, IBS, lipids, obesity, osteoarthritis, post-menopausal, PMDD, smoking cessation and vaginal atrophy.

Peter DeBry, MD, Principal Investigator is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and has clinical research experience as well as published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals. He received his MD from the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City, UT.

James E. Mock, MD, FACC, Principle Investigator is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, and Nuclear Cardiology. He received his medical degree at the University of Minnesota, and has been involved in clinical research since 1981. Along with his clinical trial experience in cardiovascular issues, he has been published in many scholarly journals.
