Our facility is conveniently located about 30 minutes south of the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (about 30 miles south of Seattle) and approximately 5 minutes from one of Tacoma's major trauma center hospitals. We are located in a built-to-suit facility near downtown Tacoma. The facility includes 250 beds, a fully-equipped sample processing lab, and ample areas for storage of samples and CRF's. The facility also includes on-site dedicated monitor rooms

  • Entry and exits are monitored by a 24-hour security system. The conduct floors are each 30,000 square feet is separated into two operating units allowing Northwest Kinetics to conduct multiple studies concurrently. Each unit offers semi-private rooms, dining and activity rooms, administrative areas, and phlebotomy stations. 24-hour monitoring of our low-temperature freezers assures safe-keeping of bioanalytical specimens for both short and long term storage.
  • All medical equipment is regularly inspected and maintained by an independent licensed biomedical repair company. Our reference/safety laboratory results are contracted through a local laboratory that provides a courier service three times daily. At Charles River Clinical Services Northwest the reference/safety laboratory results are reported on-site, in a secure location, for immediate review by the physician. Any problems can be detected and decisions can be made in a timely manner to benefit both you and the safety of our study participants.
