A Randomized, Placebo-Controlled, Double-Blind, Proof-of-Concept Study of Intravenous ACZ885 or AIN457 in Dry Eye Syndrome
This study will assess the effects of a single intravenous dose of AIN457 (10 mg/kg) or
ACZ885 (10 mg/kg) on the signs and symptoms of dry eye. In addition, the pharmacokinetic,
pharmcodynamic and safety profile will be assesd in patients with dry eye. Samples will be
collected for effect of AIN457 or ACZ88 on select biomarkers.
