The Clinical Research Center of CT, a division of Connecticut Family Orthopedics, is a dedicated Research Facility associated with a medical practice consisting of 9 physicians and 3 physician assistants who specialize in orthopedics/rheumatology. Our goal is to conduct high quality clinical trials while offering potential new therapies to our patients. We strive to meet and often exceed enrollment goals while ensuring regulatory and protocol compliance.

Our center has been involved in clinical research for 15 years.

We focus on research phases III and IV

We are able to use central IRB's for all of our trials.

Our therapeutic specialties include: Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis (including oral and parenteral routes), Low Back Pain, Vaccines, Chronic Pain, Osteoporosis and Fibromyalgia.

We have a Registered X-Ray Technician/Certified Bone Density Technician on staff.


Our research population draws largely from our medical practice, numbering over 7500 adult patients. Additionally, patients are referred from area physicians for specific drug studies. We have experience enhancing recruitment through advertising in television, radio and newspaper media along with community presentations which are given by our physicians.

Our office is located in Danbury, CT. We are 30 min from Westchester Airport in White Plains, NY. We are 1 hr. from Stewart International Airport in Newburgh, NY and Bradley International Airport in Hartford, CT. Our office provides x-ray facilities, nerve conduction tests and electrocardiograms. Other on-site equipment includes a centrifuge and a -45º C freezer. We have ample office space to store and secure our records, locked refrigerated drug storage and double-locked ambient drug storage, remote data entry, high-speed internet, exam and infusion rooms, and designated work space for monitoring visits.
