It is open to people age 18 and older who have atrial fibrillation. Recently, the investigators at Crawford Long have found that atrial fibrillation is associated with increased oxidative stress. It is the expectation that participants with atrial fibrillation will have more abnormal blood markers.

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Viability: Comparison of Myocardial Viability by Positron Emission Tomography Versus MRI

At the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Atlanta, recruiting is being held for both men and women who suffer from Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. Patients of this trial must be ages 25-65 years old. This trial has been going on since July of 2008 and is in Phase III. The purpose of this study is to evaluate whether FTY720 is effective in delaying MS disability progression compared to placebo in patients with PPMS.

A Test of the Effectiveness of a Device and Distraction for Pediactric Immunization Pain

The hypothesis of this study is that distraction cards used by the caretaker along with a vibrating cold pack placed proximal to the side of immunization will decrease the pain routine pediatric immunizations when compared to a placebo device or standard care.
